This year’s top ten most liveable cities ranking, Global Liveability Index 2019 by Economist Intelligence Unit, is almost identical with last year’s ditto. Vienna holds on to pole position and the rest is a slight reshuffle of last year’s top ten performers.
Copenhagen holds on to the ninth place overall and to its position as the second most liveable city in Europe.

The Economist’s Intelligence Unit’s liveability rating qualifies the challenges that might be presented to an individual’s lifestyle in 140 cities worldwide. The index examines over 30 different factors across the five categories: stability, health, culture and environment, education and infrastructure.
