Location and infrastructure
Copenhagen Airport has been rated the most efficient airport in Europe for the tenth time in the past twelve years.
Once again, Copenhagen Airport has been rated the most efficient airport in Europe by the Air Transport Research Society (ATRS).
The ATRS Global Airport Benchmarking Report 2015 measures and compares the performance of important aspects of airport operations: productivity and efficiency, unit costs and cost competitiveness, financial results and airport charges among more than 200 airports in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America.
An important parameter in the benchmark is the ability to handle complexity. Copenhagen Airport has a large number of international flights, requiring highly efficient security, baggage handling and transferring.
Easy access to Greater Copenhagen
Getting to and from Copenhagen Airport is also efficient. Trains and metro are connected to the airport terminals, ensuring easy transportation to Copenhagen, the rest of Denmark, as well as neighbouring Sweden. In fact, it takes less than 15 minutes to get from Copenhagen Airport to the centre of Copenhagen by metro.
The gateway to Scandinavia, Europe and the Baltics
Greater Copenhagen is the ideal hub for transport and logistics to Scandinavia, the Baltic Sea Region and Northern Europe with next day delivery access to approximately 100 million affluent consumers.
This is why major logistics providers such as DHL Express, UPS, TNT, PostNord and FedEx all use Greater Copenhagen as their logistics hub.
