Denmark is the third most innovative country in the EU according to the European Innovation Scoreboard 2019. Attractive research systems, an innovation-friendly environment and human resources are the strongest innovation dimensions.
The European innovation scoreboard by the European Commission provides a comparative analysis of innovation performance in EU countries, other European countries, and regional neighbours.
Denmark is placed in the best performing group “Innovation leader”, taking the third spot surpassed only by Sweden and Finland.
