Denmark takes the lead in global ranking of future readiness

Surpassing the USA, the UK and the Netherlands, Denmark is once again ranked by the "IMD World Competitiveness Ranking" as the country in the world most ready for the future.

What does it mean to be a digital competitive country? For the second year in a row, the IMD World Competitive Ranking explores this question looking at how countries around the globe adopt digital technologies to transform government practices, business models and society in general.

This year, Denmark has not only improved its overall digital position from a 5th to 4th place, Denmark is also highlighted as the country in the world most ready for the future; a category that implies that Denmark is world leading in terms of adaptive attitudes, business agility and IT integration.
