Brands striving for a better world choose Copenhagen

Copenhagen has been announced host city for the Sustainable Brands’ Northern European Conference 2016. Sustainable Brands is a global community of brand innovators, who are shaping the future of commerce worldwide.

At the Sustainable Brands 2015 Conference in London last week, the founder and CEO of Sustainable Brands, KoAnn Vikoren Skrzyniarz, announced the choice of Copenhagen as host city for the 2016 event with the following motivation:

"As a community of innovators focused on advancing the role of brands in shaping a flourishing future, we couldn’t be more excited to convene our Northern European Sustainable Brands community in Copenhagen in 2016. We feel that a city known for its devotion to sustainable business practices and the laudable goal of becoming the world’s first CO2 neutral capital by 2025 is a perfect location to convene an ecosystem of business leaders and organisations for conversations on sustainability-led brand innovation."

Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, Frank Jensen, looks forward to welcoming the delegates:

"It is a pleasure that Sustainable Brands has chosen to come to Copenhagen in 2016. In our experience, going green pays off. Our investment in sustainable solutions has made Copenhagen a world leader when it comes to creating growth and jobs."
