Lord Mayor of Copenhagen elected to the C40 steering committee

The Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, Frank Jensen, will be joining the Steering Committee of the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group which is a network of 67 of the world’s biggest and most innovative cities who is taking action to reduce CO2 emissions and climate risks.
The Lord Mayor will represent the 19 C40 Innovator cities, which have shown clear leadership in environmental and climate change work.
“C40 is an important organisation that plays a great role in making the world’s cities greener and more sustainable. It is a great recognition of Copenhagen’s efforts to minimise emissions and develop sustainable urban solutions that we are now represented in the C40 Steering Committee. I look forward to sharing our experiences of coupling sustainability with economic growth and job creation,” says Frank Jensen, the Lord Mayor of Copenhagen.
