TV giant CNBC broadcasts live from Copenhagen

CNBC is one of the world's largest television stations and goes out to over 400 million households worldwide. On Monday 16 December, the CNBC reports live from Copenhagen as part of their programme series on ‘Innovation Cities’

- Copenhagen is much more recognized as an innovative business hub by the rest of world than we might think, says Claus Lønborg, Managing Director of Copenhagen Capacity. Together with the Copenhagen Goodwill Ambassador Corps, he has facilitated the process of getting CNBC to Denmark.

The worldwide business television channel CNBC was Monday on a visit to transmit live from Copenhagen because the Danish capital is part of a series on innovative cities. The TV station reported therefore from the live from Copenhagen and spoke with a number of innovative Danish companies.

- Denmark and Copenhagen has a good name and a strong brand. We have a number of companies that are recognized as some of the world's most innovative and progressive in their fields, says Claus Lønborg.

The programme is hosted by CNBC’s Danish -American Louisa Bojesen. She throughout the day she has interviewed the pharmaceutical giant Novo , the design company Designit, GN Resound , IT entrepreneurs The Eye Tribe and architectural firm Bjarke Ingels Group.

Louisa Bojesen is in addition to being the host at CNBC, also a member of Copenhagen Goodwill Ambassador Corps. The first interview of the day was with Copenhagen Capacity’s Managing Director Claus Lønborg. Watch the interview here
