Vestas is still number one

The Danish wind turbine giant is still world leader in wind systems, writes the Bloomberg news agency
With a global market share of 12.9 percent, Danish Vestas is maintaining its position as the leading producer of wind turbines worldwide.
Such is the assessment of BTM Consult, who specialise in the global wind turbine industry. This means that Vestas is still ahead of the Chinese Xinjiang Goldwind & Technology company and of General Electric who hold 9.4 and 7.9 percent of the world market respectively.
