Denmark is expanding its employment capacity in IT
For the first time in a number of years Denmark is expanding its IT companies and increasing its numbers of IT employees. In just one year 1000 new jobs have been generated, writes the Berlingske Tidende daily newspaper.
At the industry association, IT-Branchen, which covers 90 percent of all Danish IT firms, chief executive officer Morten Bangsgaard considers the growth in employees to be “very good news”.
- This is a serious indication that faith in growth is returning. And this matches the expectations that companies have for growth in 2012, says Morten Bangsgaard.
Two out of three IT companies expect an increase in orders in 2012.
