Danish industry growth consolidates

The revenue of Danish industries increased by 2.4 per cent in the first quarter of 2012 compared to the final quarter of 2011, writes the Børsen daily newspaper

The steady rise of the Danish industries is consolidating and continues as the total revenue has reached the pre-recession level.

The revenue of the industries has increased in two consecutive quarters and has now reached 2008 levels, reports Statistics Denmark.

The industry sectors machinery and electronic equipment are the best performing industries with sales increases of 7.5 and 9.8 per cent, respectively.
