Copenhagen invests in commuter bikes with GPS

Next year, Danish politicians are planning to introduce new commuter bikes as substitutes for the old city bikes.
The new bikes are high tech vehicles, not aimed at tourists like the old city bikes, but rather at commuters and the citizens of Copenhagen.
The Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, Frank Jensen, is pleased that the city has managed to find a model that “strives to hold on to the image of Copenhagen as a city where priority is given to bikes and green solutions”.
-The new city bikes are attractive alternatives to long tailbacks because of their comfort and technological equipment that enables the cyclist to listen to music and radio and to be guided by GPS, says Frank Jensen.
