Denmark once again takes the lead position in the prestigious ranking Best Countries for Business by Forbes.
Denmark takes the first spot in the Best Countries for Business 2015 ranking by Forbes.
Denmark ranks in the top 20 in all but one of the 11 metrics used to measure the Best Countries for Business, scoring top points for personal and monetary freedom and low corruption.
Transparent and efficient
Denmark’s regulatory climate is praised as one of the world’s “most transparent and efficient”, and despite its wide-ranging welfare state, Denmark is very much a market-based economy, according to Forbes.

The 2015 ranking confirms that Denmark offers one of the world’s most attractive and dynamic business environments. The Best Countries for Business grades 144 nations on 11 different factors: corruption, freedom, innovation, taxes, property rights, technology, red tape, investor protection and stock market performance. Each category was equally weighted. The data came from published reports from the following organisations: Freedom House, Heritage Foundation, Property Rights Alliance, Transparency International, World Bank Group and World Economic Forum.
