Denmark has the fourth happiest workforce in the world
30 11月 2015
Denmark’s workforce is the fourth happiest in the world according to Universum Global Workforce Happiness Index 2016.
The Global Workforce Happiness Index is based on three factors:
- Employee satisfaction at their current job
- Likelihood of recommending their current employer
- Their stated sense of job loyalty.
Job satisfaction prevents wasteful recruiting costs
The study is the biggest and first of its kind, surveying more than 250,000 professionals in 55 markets. The research targets highly skilled employees with work experience, who are not likely to be affected by economic downturns, resulting fewer career opportunities and hereby in higher loyalty scores.
Essentially, the index offers a country specific barometer of the workplace health of that market’s talent pool and a benchmark by which individual employers can map the loyalty and job satisfaction of their employees, contributing to preventing wasteful cost of recruiting and hiring.
