Elkjøp Nordic chooses Copenhagen for Scandinavian customer service centre

The largest consumer electronics retailer in the Nordic countries, Elkjøp Nordic, has chosen Copenhagen for its new Scandinavian customer service centre with 300 employees.

Elkjøp Nordic has placed its new Scandinavian customer service centre in Copenhagen, from where 300 employees from Denmark, Norway and Sweden will handle inquiries from customers all over Scandinavia.

Customer satisfaction up – and costs down

With the new shared customer service centre, Elkjøp Nordic is bringing together three Scandinavian offices at 4,100 brand new square metres in Copenhagen. The consolidation brings about synergies allowing for improved customer services – without increasing costs.

Nordic market leader

Elkjøp Nordic is the largest consumer electronics retailer in the Nordic countries, with over 500 stores across six countries and around 10,000 employees. The company is owned by British giant Dixons Carphone. In Denmark, Elkjøp Nordic is the market leader through the brand Elgiganten, which has more than 2,000 employees and 40 department stores in Denmark as well as one of largest Internet shops in the country.
