Kent Damsgaard and Steen Donner believe that foreign firms and workers is crucial for the development in Denmark because they generally have a higher level of knowledge, higher productivity and a greater focus on doing things more efficiently.
- Foreign companies are growth engines for the Danish labor market: Even though they only represent 1% of the total number of businesses, they employ 19% of the private sector employees and account for 24% of the Danish turnover. Let us make a clear strategy for what will be the Danish strong points. The more businesses and jobs we can retain and attract the greater wealth we can create for everyone.
