Director of Route Development & Airline Sales, Ole Wieth Christensen is excited about the development and emphasizes that there are now many more options for travelers and states that both tourists and business people will benefit from the two new routes to Turkey.
Recently, Delta Air Lines opened the first direct route between Copenhagen Airport and New York's busiest airport JFK, thus improving accessibility to entire North America significantly.
Later this year, Egypt Air will be opening a direct route to Cairo. This is really good news for the Danish business sector, which, along with the tourism industry, will benefit from the increased accessibility to Egypt and Africa.
- International accessibility through direct routes to and from overseas destinations is vital for Danish industry, says director of the DI Transportation, Michael Swan.
