NEW ROUTES FROM COPENHAGEN AIRPORT
Feb. 4, 2010 | Topic: Location and infrastructureCimber Sterling is launching six new routes from Copenhagen – and more routes are to be launched this spring.
Cimber Sterling’s new Boeing 737 is expected to fly the new routes on the company’s map of Europe. This will, among other things, mean three weekly departures to Madrid, and by spring the company will also introduce two daily departures to Rome.
”We have been in a close dialogue with Cimber Sterling on the different route possibilities, and we believe that especially some of the routes to Eastern Europe represent a lot of potential” says Carsten Nørland, Vice President at Copenhagen Airport.
Besides Rome and Madrid, the company also launches routes to holiday islands in Greece and France.
