Terma - Defence, aerospace, radar, space, ATM and IT-solutions. Terma develops and markets high-tech solutions, systems, and products for civilian and military applications.

With the purchase of the F-16 fighter aircraft by four European countries in the 1970s, Terma gained a break-through in co-production of advanced aircraft electronics. Since then Terma has delivered products to many armed forces and civilian costumers throughout the world. The Star Tracker HE-5AS, which is one of many products for satellites, is produced at Terma.

In 2004, Terma gathered all activities in the Copenhagen area in a new office at Herlev. Herlev was chosen because Terma found those facilities suitable for the company's purposes. Furthermore, the location was perfect due to the accessibility.

B-K Medical - For over a quarter of a century, B-K Medical has developed and produced diagnostic ultrasound systems of high quality.

The company was previously known as ‘Brüel & Kjær' and since 1992 B-K Medical has been a subsidiary of the U.S. firm Analogic Corporation. B-K Medical's leading market position is due to the ongoing development and innovation of the company's new and old products. This is done in close cooperation with established medical professionals in Denmark and abroad.

The products are distributed by B-K Medical's subsidiary sales companies in the U.S., Europe, and Singapore. An extensive network of distributors connects B-K Medical with Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the rest of the world.

B-K Medical's more than 200 employees benefit from the attractive new location in Herlev. The company chose to move to the current facilities in Herlev as it is easily accessible and has space for a future expansion of the company if necessary. Accessibility was a main factor in locating in Herlev as it is easy for the employees to get to and from work from the entire Capital region. Furthermore, B-K Medical benefit from a close cooperation with Herlev Hospital and the Technical University of Denmark in Lyngby only 10 minutes away by car.
