Vision
A business estate offering state of the art conditions for international clean-tech companies.
The overall plan
The business estate will be developed with a physical as well as a knowledge infrastructure of the world class and in such a way that the synergies of the Copenhagen Clean-Tech Cluster are fully utilized – in particular with the aim of making the area even more attractive for highly qualified staff.
Display window
The Copenhagen Clean-Tech Park is part of one of the largest city and business development projects in Denmark. The future city covers about 350 ha and is expected to have 14,000
inhabitants, 6,000 workplaces and 6,000 homes. A completely new city of this size offers companies located here a unique opportunity to demonstrate and display products and to create a full-scale world exhibition of clean-tech technologies.
Energy and environment
The business estate will have buildings and infrastructure that make use of state of the art energy and environmental technologies in the best possible way. The power supply of the estate will be based on renewable energy such as solar heat systems, wind power, fuel and solar cells etc. The waste of resources will be minimized through the creation of business symbiosis exchanging and reutilizing by-products to the widest possible extent.
Copenhagen Clean-Tech Cluster
Clean-tech companies and knowledge institutions collaborate through the Copenhagen Clean-Tech Cluster with the aim of creating the leading clean-tech cluster in Europe. Companies in the Clean-Tech Park will be part of the Copenhagen Clean-Tech Cluster, aiming to create close cooperation between companies, knowledge institutions and business incubation environments.
