Denmark’s fashion industry is convinced that it can play a key role on the international fashion scene and that Copenhagen can become a global fashion metropolis - after Paris, New York, Milan and London.
Three out of five companies in the industry think there is every probability that in only four or five years Copenhagen will be an established international fashion cluster. Copenhagen Fashion Week, held in the twin venues of Bella Center and Øksnehallen and supplemented by many shows arranged by individual companies at locations throughout the city, is featured in leading fashion magazines worldwide. In terms of exhibition area, Copenhagen Fashion Fair is now the largest event of its kind in Europe.
