Copenhagen Airport is world famous for its unique ambience, which is highly valued by passengers from the whole world. The ambience is also one of the elements that made passengers rate Copenhagen Airport Europe’s best for the fifth consecutive year.

That was done in the international AETRA survey, whose results for 2005 have just been released. In the survey, the service levels of 66 airports worldwide are compared on the basis of interviews with 100,000 passengers.

Copenhagen was rated best in Europe ahead of 29 other airports, among them Stockholm, Hamburg and some of the largest hubs in Europe such as London/Heathrow and Amsterdam. This year, Copenhagen shares the first place with the airport in Brussels as the ratings of the two airports were very close. The airport at Zurich was rated number two and Helsinki number three.

In addition to the top rating in Europe, Copenhagen Airport was rated third best worldwide in the category of airports with 15-25 million passengers per year.

Copenhagen Airport is the largest in Scandinavia with 20 million passengers per year and flights to 130 destinations.
