CSC to open Danish innovation centre
18-01-2006
IT and high tech industries:
Innovation is in focus when CSC is to open the company’s innovation centre, I-LAB, in the beginning of February.
However, the purpose is not technology innovation rather business innovation, writes Computerworld.
“We have, of course, previously created innovative solutions for our customers, but it will now be possible to unit these activities in one place. We are not to do basic research in I-LAB,” says Jesper Kryhlmand, general manager.
The company’s latest initiative is to be located together with the head office in Copenhagen.
One of the new activities is so-called Proof of Concept where customers will have the opportunity to see the systems they consider buying as well as a demonstration in a set up similar to the one in which the systems are to be used.
CSC will also hold seminars in I-LAB. One seminar to be held, for example, is about SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) where the companies attending will have the opportunity of a demonstration.
CSC has the same kind of centre e.g. in the USA and in United Kingdom.
