Denmark spearhead in Microsoft’s new growth business
08-12-2005

IT and high tech industries:

The numerous Danish distributors of economy and business software, which were closely linked to Microsoft at the acquisition of Danish Navision in 2002 at EUR 1.6 billion, are now to have an even more decisive position in Microsoft’s new growth business, writes Børsen.

Several of them, including Columbus IT Partner, Tectura and WM-data, have been closely connected to the team at Microsoft’s Danish head office that is now launching CRM 3.0 - a sales optimizing programme.

Tectura, for instance, has developed a module enabling the integration of the new programme with the economy programme Axapta and Celenia from Aalborg has developed a similar module for the Navision economy system.

The collaboration with the many Danish software houses is the reason why Microsoft expects the new programmes to be successful.

“We expect to take important market shares with our new launch; among other things because it is a question of full suite that is able to handle sale, service and marketing. But also because we already have a long line of add-ons ready which our network of independent software suppliers have handled,” says Bjørn Skou Eilertsen, product manager at Microsoft CRM.
