Medicon Valley holds a strong position in the international competition to attract biotech investments assigned to regions with universities having world-class research and an important composition of small biotech as well as large pharmaceutical companies.
For the first time ever, an analysis shows the research areas in which Medicon Valley has its unique competencies making it possible to attract investments and research talents to the region. The survey titled “Commercial Attractiveness of Biomedical R&D in Medicon Valley” is the first of its kind combining analysis of the quality of the research in the region with a purely commercial perspective.
A Copenhagen Capacity initiated survey
The survey of Medicon Valley’s research is made by the worldwide consultancy company The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for Copenhagen Capacity and Region Skåne Inward Investment.
Copenhagen Capacity and Region Skåne are promoting Medicon Valley globally and contributing to the development of region in the biomedical area.
