04-08-2008

Society and living:

If you would like to live in Europe Zürich is the best but Copenhagen is also in top ten.

Switzerland and Germany dominate Forbes’ list of Europe’s ten best cities in which to live, but Copenhagen is also included on the list as the only Scandinavian city. Recently the trend magazine Monocle nominated Copenhagen as the world’s best city in which to live and now the city is once more in the very top.

Forbes’ starting point is a survey of life quality prepared by the consultancy house Mercer and the decisive factors for the city’s ranking are among other things political stability, financial environment, education, transportation, entertainment, access to consumer goods and housing.
