Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is planning to commence its Copenhagen-San Franciso route during spring 2009, announces the company in its press release.

It will be SAS’ fifth new intercontinental route within a two-year period.

“This new route shows our commitment to provide our customers with more direct international links to and from Northern Europe,” says Chief Executive Officer Lars Sandahl Sørensen, SAS International.
