Americans to test new franchise concepts on the Danes
20-02-2008
Business conditions:
Your dream of a clean car when you leave the supermarket is now close to reality. It is one of six new franchise concepts that the Americans have tested on the Danes.
McDonald’s, 7-eleven and Build-A-Bear are chains which are already present in Denmark and are characterised by being built around franchising.
And the Danish market has become interesting to US franchise companies. So interesting that six US chains will now like to enter the Danish market, writes Berlingske Business.
The chains are looking for so-called “master franchisees”, meaning that a potential buyer will have the right to resell the concept in Denmark to new franchisees.
In Denmark the company PS4 FranchisePartner has specialised in matching future master franchisees and the US companies.
Moreover, PS4 FranchisePartner will try to introduce the six US companies to the Danish market. One of the six companies which have selected the Danish market is called “PruntoWash”. A concept where the customer can have his car washed while he is shopping.
The other concepts are: New Horizons, Instant Imprents, Expense Reduction Analyst, Two men and a Truck and Aussie Pet Mobile.
