In 2008, Copenhagen Airports will invest in check-in facilities, gates and stand spaces, luggage facilities, security, commercial projects and other service improvements for passengers.
The board of Copenhagen Airports has decided to invest in the magnitude of DKK 1 billion in 2008.
General manager Brian Petersen from Copenhagen Airports recently presented the new strategy and investment plan for 2008 at a press meeting, writes Berlingske Business.
- The investment plan is based on analyses of the customers’ requirements in the light of the fact that Copenhagen Airport aims at being the world’s best airport for airline companies and passengers. In 2007 a number of service improvements for passengers were introduced and these have upgraded the passenger satisfaction. This development is to continue. The intensified competition between airports means that massive investments are required if Copenhagen Airports is to solve the capacity requirements as well as improve the passenger satisfaction, writes the company.
The airports will increase the number of staff by 150 staff in 2008. Also in 2007 more staff was appointed so in just two years Copenhagen Airports has increased its staff by approximately 300 persons.
