Danish company sold to Holland

Møller & Landschultz which is selling office supplies to the commercial market has been sold to Dutch-based Corporate Express - one of the largest wholesale traders worldwide in the field, writes Børsen Business Daily.
The Dutch company did not announce the amount paid for Møller & Landschultz which is located in North Zealand with among other things 6000 square metres warehouse, administration and shop. Apart from this there is a shop of 400 square metres in Copenhagen.
The company has 66 staff and has shown a fine growth rate in its latest financial year that ended at the end of June 2007.
The gross profit jumped approximately 30 per cent to EUR 4.3 million.
The turnover is not available in the annual report. However, according to the Dutch buyer it is estimated to land at approximately EUR 18 million in the present financial year.
In Corporate Express European director Peter Damman among other things points out that Møller & Landschultz has a strong position among major and medium-sized company customers in the Copenhagen area.
“The acquisition offers a unique opportunity to increase our geographic coverage in the Nordic countries. Moreover, it gives us a big chance to strengthen our presence on the Danish market and we expect to see synergies with regards to the Danish branch of Corporate Express.”
