The Danish Capital Region is becoming more international these years. Consequently there is an increasing need to expose and market the region to partners, companies, citizens and other interested parties all over the world.
In cooperation with 18 municipalities in the Capital Region, Copenhagen Capacity is now launching a new business portal in English. The portal is to make it easier for foreign investors to find the right place to set up in the region.
The global challenge is such that the municipalities in the Capital Region have to cooperate to attract attention. That is why Copenhagen Capacity, in close cooperation with a number of municipalities, is launching a business portal that mainly appeals to foreign investors. “We expect that eventually all municipalities will join the project, “ states Claus Frelle-Petersen, Director of Strategy and Development at Copenhagen Capacity.
At the portal three functions make it easier for investors to find a suitable location and to find needed information on the individual municipalities.
-
The function Find Location makes it possible to search for properties on Denmark’s largest database for properties and premises, Oline. One can search for municipality, type of property, size and price and get the result on a map in a window at Oline.
-
Business and Science parks show places which can be of relevance to smaller companies setting up with a few employees. The function gives an overview of office hotels, science parks and other locations.
-
Municipality info permits the municipalities to create an image of themselves towards the investors with information on the local business life, plans and services to the business life.
-
Finally Search Businesses gives an overview of the business in the area. Companies are likely lo locate in regions with similar companies, potential clients or important suppliers nearby.
The portal is accessible from today. There is access via Copenhagen Capacity’s website www.copcap.com.
